Simbang Gabi Update

May naghahabulan nanaman sa mga kalsada sa mga oras na ito.  Sa may street sa ilog nagtatakbuhan.  Naghahabulan nanaman ng mga bato.  Nagsisigawan nanaman.

Parang mga tanga.  Kung matapang ka wag kang tumakbo.  At kung humahabol ka wag mong patakbuhin ang kalaban mo.  Sigaw ng isang humahabol, "Sige TAKBO pa!".  Anak naman ng pitumpung tupa.  Eh diba ang gusto mo mahabol ung tao?  Wag mo ng patakbuhin.  TANGA TANGA talaga nitong mga ito.  Pinapagod mo lang sarili mo. 

  

Simbang Gabi

Ika 15 ng Disyembre ang simula ng simbang gabi.  Simula nanaman ng siyam na araw ng pagsisimba bago sumapit ang Pasko.  

Malamig na simoy ng hangin.  Kaya't ihanda ang jaket, bonet at sumbrero.  Mabango ang mga pagkain tulad ng puto bumbong at bibingka.

Marami ang nangagsimba.  Pamilya, magkasintahan, mga tropa.  Kumbaga sarisaring tao ang iyong makikita.

Para sa akin ang simbang madaling araw dito sa Shrine of Our Lady of the Abandoned, Marikina City ay dapat ng itigil.  Alam ninyo siguro kung bakit.  Kung inyong mapapansin pag simbang gabi palaging may di kaaya ayang nangyayari sa paligid.

Ginagawang BATTLE GROUNDS ng mga iba't ibang topa ang paligid ng simbahan.  Kabi kabilang kanto may mga nakaantabay, nagaabang ng mga kalabang tropa.  May mga dalang bato, bote, pamalo at kung minsan may philbox pa.  

Nagsisimula sa murang edad.  Kung aking susumahin nasa paligid ng 11 hanggang 20 mahigit ang mga edad nila.  Ang mga pinama maliliit at mga bata ang nakikita kong nauuna sa mga habulan.  Kumbaga sila ang unang panugod.  Ang mga matatanda or mga beterano ay nasa likod nag uutos.  Oo nga naman sila ang mga founder or mga elder, hindi dapat mauna.  

Nagiging dahilan na lang ang simbang gabi upang makalabas ang mga kabataan na yan.  Nagiging dahilan na lang ang simbang gabi para makipag rambulan ang mga yan.  

Hindi naman napipigilan ng mga kinauukulan ang mga ito.  Ang pinagtataka ko ay kilala naman nila ang mga ito.  Nangyayari ito ng ilang taon na.  Bakit hindi gumawa ng mga hakbang upang pigilan ang mga ganitong pangyayari?

Ang masama ay nadadamay ang mga ordinaryong tao.  Mga gustong magsimba at manalangin.  Mga bata na pwedeng masaktan.  Mga matatanda na walang kinalaman.  

Gaano katagal pa kaya mangyayari ang mga ito?  Ilan pa kaya ang masasaktan?  May buhay pa kayang mawawala dahil dito?

Antayin ko ulit ang mangyayari sa isang taon? 

Ang Pagtapik

Habang nag surf ako sa net .. nasa tabi ko ang aking anak.  Ang sarap pagmasdan ng napaka inosenteng bata na natutulog.  

Biglang makikita mo na gagalaw at magigising.  Iyong tatapikin ang bata paminsan ay may kasabay na himig na pampahele.  

Bakit nga ba natin tinatapik ang bata kapag nagigising?  Hindi ba dapat siya ay lalong magising sa dahilan ng pagtatapik?

Pumasok lamang sa king pang unawa.. marahil naghuhudyat lamang un sa mga bata na sila'y may katabi at nagsasabing andito si nanay or si tatay na nagbabantay sa iyong pagtulog.

At sila'y unti unting muling mahihimbing.. salamat nanay at tatay 

Memories

As the cleaning and taaking out all the garbage that was left by Ondoy.. and still after two months we are cleaning hehehehe..  

I've seen my precious memories go to waste.  Pictures that I've kept for so long.  Pictures that I am very very proud of.  Pictures that I was planning to show my lil kid.. now gone.. lusaw.. nababad sa tubig.. at di lang basta tubig.. tubig ilog to.. ambaho.. maputik..

One by one i scavanged the pile of pictures.. I saw little hope.. Those pictures when I was a child.. picture ng mga lolo at lola, mga tito tita, mga pinsan, mga kalaro, ng mga naging birthday party

when I was in grade school (Marikina Catholic School).. nung nasa Boy Scouts.. mga retreat.. mga field trip.. mr. & ms MCS..

when I was with the Youth Ministry.. youth camps.. the World youth Day.. choirs..outings..
when I was with the Columbian Squires.. conventions in Isabela and Subic.. meetings..

And many many more.. These were all lost.  Though a few were gathered from the pile.  i tried to revive them by scanning and saving.. maybe I should have done this a long time ago.. who would have known that this storm named Ondoy will drown them all..


 

Update

Have I mentioned that I'm back working for *bleep* company?  Well I am.  After seven months of no regular work.. job hunting.. worrying.. tambaying (hehe para may ING pa din sa huli) .. 


I received a text message last September 26, 2009 10:30am.  
"Manuel this is *bleep*.  Text me back when I can call you."

Huh? si *bleep* magtetext sa akin?  Mukhang may nanloloko ah .. hehe dahil gawin ko na dati ito, hindi ako naniwala kaagad.


FLASHBACK!
The day before we were relieved from our work, those who were affected received a call or a text from the HR.  The mood in the office was happy and lively.  Nagkukulitan lang mga tao, not knowing what lies ahead.  As I received the call I didn't ask anything.  "Opo dadating ako bukas", un lang sagot ko.  Almost all of us received a call from the HR.  Then one friend/office mate was asking why she didn't received any call.  HMMMMMMM.. gusto mo makatanggap ng tawag ha.. hehehehehe.. I texted her saying that she needs to report to the "location".  Ganun kasimple, pero pormal ang pagkakatext ko.  Then I heard her that she also got the text message.  She was asking evryone about the text she had received.  I just watched her, waiting for her next step.  Oh my, she was walking towards the place of our manager.. hehehehe lagot ka Binggoy.. I immediately texted her.. "si Binggoy ito". hehehehe so ayun na.. tawanan na kami :P


I texted all my friends and former officemates.  Baka may mambibiktima sa akin mahirap na.. hahahaha.  I even texted my manager.  A few replied and confirmed that the number used to text me was that of *bleep*, even my former manager confirmed it.. oh yeahh.. tama siya nga.. pero teka.. ano ba at itinext niya ako .. Excited na ako .. and I told my wife.. she said, "hon baka babalik ka na dito sa *bleep*".  


and then I was re-hired ..

June 17 I turned 32.. Yes I am 32 hehe.. ulitin ko pa ba? Another year. Am I wiser? Definitely OLDER! hahahaha.. What has happened this year for me? Well.. 
First, nag eenglish ako sa blog ko .. wahahaha .. for the sole purpose of? Ewan ko ba, akala ko mas may magbabasa kung mag Ingles ako.. so napatunayan ko na mali yun.. so belat!
Second, I got married last December 8.. wuhoo!! The best wedding, many have told us. Maybe not.. I know you talk about the glitches, the dresses, the makeup, the people, the sounds, the lights.. etc etc.. that is when we are not around.. hehehe believe me.. I know.. Ganyan din ako anak ng tutcha naman oh! hahahaha.. Ito lang ang akin.. I am happy that the highlight of the day/night was our wedding ceremony.. and that was what I DREAMED off.. It was for us to enjoy the ceremony, the mass, the exchanging of vows, the tears, the joy, and the life.. ohh wait.. there was this great song "The Lord's Prayer".. it really was enchanting, touching, breathtaking.. ASTIG.. thanks Lorna ;-)
Third, We are expecting our first born.. A BOY! Un sabi ni OB ha.. We where really surprised. We did not expect that we would be given a very special gift this early. Without even trying that hard ;-) hahahaha.. So, baby .. see you in a few months..
Fourth, I lost my job. Due to the global economic crisis our copany was affected and had to let go a certain percentage of their employees. Yan din tinuro sabihin s amin sa workshop hahahaha.. pero totoo.. I was shocked.. Naramdaman ko na blangko ang utak ko.. wala ako reaction.. uncertainty, doubt, anger, tears.. SAN MIG hahahaha!
Fifth, puspusan na paghahanap ng trabaho. Humbling experience. I would always wonder back then, "Ano kaya kung kunin lahat ulit sa akin itong mga tinatamasa ko". I had a great job, walang masyado ginagawa. May family na ako. Seems everything was doing FINE.. then ito.. Well I thank GOD for always putting my feet on the groud.
Sixth, Nabuksan ang isip at utak ko sa iba pang opportunities. Natutunan ko magsaliksik sa net ng kung anu ano.. pati na mga scandal? nahhh.. matagal ko na alam un .. hahahaha.. Pero sa pagsasaliksik ko dun ko natisod ko ang isang individual na magtatayo pa lang ng company sa Pinas.. so tignan natin kugn anong manyayari ;-)
Seventh, back in my previous company I;ve been given a chance to show that I could lead and/or manage a group. Bagong pagsubok.. natuto.. maraming bagong nakilala.. SALAMAT.. kita ninyo ha.. wala akong masamang tinapay sa kumpanya.. sana ganun din ang isukli ninyo sa amin PEACE
Eight, full support ng mga tao sa paligid ko.. I always believe that surrounding yourself with people who have positive attitude will always help lift your spirit. THANKS

I can no longer say that I have no time to do this and to do that. I kept on browsing the web for possible opportunities. After a ton of interviews and exams maybe it's time to lay low a bit. I don't want to get frustrated or anything. This comes naturally, after getting used to working and having that EXPECTED regular income at the 15th and month's end.

I came across AdSense by Google. These are ads generated by google. The best thing is you can earn a little amount by just posting this ad on your website. I have a blog, I can post it there. I am planning to build a website, I can post it there.

You get paid per VALID click. Yes VALID is the key word. I am in the process of finding out what that VALID word really mean in the AdSense point of view. No harm in trying. As I've said, I have plenty of time.
